Re Owned series began in 2009. The concept was to recreate the materials like the glass, metals,plastics of  post cusumer products into works of art. I use  old TV sets, radios parts, unbrellas, and basically anything that was sunbstainable enough to be use  as art to established into assedmbleges, collages , and sculpture pieces. I aslo  transform old garments into painted  pieces. At some point the use of plastics, metals, and glasses would be carefully thought about how it would be used in the distribution of products, so may the materials may not always be  available? Therefore the pieces are sort of like a time capsule preserving a time when society as an whole was not conscience of the waste. I wanted to but a small  dent in that wasteful system by turning my post consumer waste into works of art . This series also has a narrative function.
